Regular property Inspections during a tenancy should be part of the service offered by a professional letting agent and our inspections are carried out at periodic intervals with feedback provided to our Landlords.

 

Inspections are not just about checking that the property is being well looked after. Part of our service includes an assessment of how the property would perform if it were to be marketed again (for example if the tenant moves out after a long tenancy). In 2009, following the catastrophic events affecting the sale market, hundreds of properties were moved from the sale to the let market providing much choice for tenants.  Effectively the market is flooded.

Managing The Tenancy: Property Inspections

It is important that our Landlords are advised of any improvements that may be required during a tenancy. Some can be carried out whilst the tenant(s) still lives in the property ensuring that, once the tenant serves notice to leave and we begin re-marketing, any required works have been carried out and the property attracts a new tenant as quickly as possible, thus minimising rental void periods between tenancies.
