An awful lot of work!

Firstly, the notice is processed on our in-house computer system and the Landlord will be sent a letter/e-mail containing the details of the proposed vacation date.

Nearer the time, the Landlord will be contacted and invited to the final inspection of the property.

Immediately after a notice is processed, a message is displayed on the computer screens of all staff in our Marketing Department. The marketing begins without consultation with the Landlord to save time.

The property marketing pack is prepared and the property is advertised immediately on the various web-sites we pay to advertise on. The property is then automatically included in the next edition of the Peterborough Evening Telegraph.

It is foolish to wait for confirmation from a Landlord to re-market the property as every minute counts. In 2008, a two bedroom Hampton apartment was let by us within five hours of the existing Tenant serving their notice!

Rapid reaction ensures a speedy let and maximum return on investment.

What happens when the tenant serves notice ?
