Lack of Marketing Feedback can be very frustrating for a Landlord

Every week we send our Landlords a letter explaining how well their property is performing on the Internet and a report showing how many viewings have been carried out, when they were carried out, what the prospective tenant thought of the property and how many viewings are booked for the future.

Without such regular feedback it can almost feel as though nothing is happening and Landlords have to call in to check on progress. We have had much feedback about this subject from Landlords who have used other letting agents so have tailored our service to address this very issue.

At Brookdale we like to reassure you that we are doing everything we can to find a suitable tenant for your property during the marketing.

Each week we carry out dozens of tenant viewing appointments at our Landlords properties.  It is unproductive to contact every Landlord and appraise them of every viewing by telephone.

Our time is better used contacting the registered prospective tenants on our database in order to organise viewings.

Keeping you informed about marketing
  • Marketing Feedback
    • Choose an agent who provides regular marketing feed-back based on Rightmove “Click Through Rate” performance
    • Analysing property performance is crucial in ensuring the market rent is set correctly
    • Don’t settle for responses like “yes it is getting some interest” - ask for facts
    • Don’t fall for the age old line “We ought to look at the rent as the market seems to have dipped”.  This is a classic case of an agent overvaluing your property to get your business
