Rental property marketing is almost a science in itself! 

In years past, before web advertising, we would simply place a lineage advert in the local paper and that was pretty much “marketing”.

Today things are much different with the emergence of the Internet as a whole and the development of property marketing “portal” sites such as Rightmove, Primelocation etc.

However, the concept is the same as marketing any other product or service:  It should be marketed to it’s fullest potential AND at the right price.


Technology plays a huge part in our marketing.  We have been utilising sites such as Rightmove (the market leader) for a very long time but more recently we have been dragged into the abyss that is “social networking” so now even advertise our properties in Twitter!

Rightmove send us regular updates about the performance of our properties and we are constantly flagged up as number one in our region for what is known as CTR (click through rate).  Basically this means that more people click on our properties than our competitors.

Marketing Team

At Brookdale we have a dedicated team responsible for marketing.  It is not uncommon for us to receive a tenant lead a few minutes after advertising a property to let.  The use of automatic text messages which we send to our registered property hunters ensures that viewings are forthcoming very quickly.
