Remember, when you see a property we have to let, you will almost certainly not be the first person to have seen it. Indeed if is unlikely that you will be the first person to view it either. It is commonplace for a property to let to someone who viewed it before you between you booking a viewing and it being carried out!
Same day viewings
Many of the properties we advertise are occupied by the current Tenants who have served notice to leave the property. We have an obligation to provide our Tenants with overnight notice of viewings so please call in advance. It is not always possible to arrange a viewing on the day you call us. We are sure you will understand this policy. After all, if you do become Brookdale Tenants we think you would appreciate notice of pending viewings.
Pushy Sales Techniques
Unlike many of our competitors, we DO NOT pay our staff commission to let properties so please do not expect any pushy sales type pressure or misleading information. Our staff are highly trained professionals who we pay to find you accommodation that suits YOUR criteria rather than complimenting our staff’s bank balance! Also - we do not operate schemes like “Apply today and we will discount your application fee”. Our fees are fair and competitive and, as a professional, I am sure you do not want to be rushed into making a decision about something as important as your new home.
This is most important - particularly if you are unfamiliar to Peterborough. You can always expect honest advice and professionalism.
After You Have Booked Your Viewing
The evening before the viewing we will e-mail you details of the viewing including directions to the property.
On the morning of the viewing, we will send you a text message reminding you of the viewing and asking you to confirm by replying YES. Please DO let us know if you are not able to attend as we would prefer to a) release the viewing slot for someone else and b) advise the occupant of the property (who may have taken time off work) that we will no longer need to visit.
Punctuality
We understand that sometimes we are all held up - in traffic, work commitments etc. Please understand though that our viewings are booked 30 minutes apart and the member of staff showing prospective Tenants our properties has a full schedule and is not always able to wait. Please contact us as soon as possible if you feel you may be delayed as we do not wish to waste your time. Thank you.
