There is a great deal you need to understand and feel comfortable with before deciding to let your property - not least your choice of letting agent.

There is so much bad press about letting agents and what can go wrong with a tenancy.  Most new Landlords we meet are expecting a tenancy with some kind of problem(s).  The fact is that the bad press stems from letting agents who focus on simply letting the property to grow their business at the cost of a bad tenant.

The Consultation Meeting

Our free consultation meeting (usually held at the property)  is to help you understand what to expect by becoming a Landlord - whether you are letting your own home or buying an investment property.  Usually we will have sent you an information pack before the meeting in order to give you a head start if you wish.

At the meeting we will explain to you how we market properties, choose the best tenants and provide what we believe is the best management service in Peterborough which has helped us become the largest of the lettings agents in Peterborough.

No “Pushy” Sales Techniques

Don'texpect pushy sales techniques from brookdale staff

Our property valuers are not paid commission to take on properties which is why we are able to reject those which do not match our tenant expectations.

Therefore please expect an informative meeting at the end of which, we hope all of  your questions are answered.

We will not ask you to make a decision to begin the next step (marketing) unless you have already made this decision based on previous contact with us over the telephone or via e-mail.

We will also NOT be chasing you up at 9AM the next morning for a decision.  Just remember to call or e-mail if you have any further questions.
