It is not acceptable to let a property to Tenant(s) and keep it for sale (unless to an investor who will keep the current Tenant in the property.)

Some letting agents allow this to happen simply to gain business. We do not. We consider it unfair for a Tenant to pay the rent each month for their home and face the uncertainty of an eviction notice if a buyer is found.

If you have a tenanted property you wish to sell then you will need to serve the tenant notice.

In addition, we do not think it is right and proper for a Tenant to have to allow Estate Agent viewings which are often booked at the last minute and at unsociable times - sometime unaccompanied.

To us, our Tenants are valuable Customers as much as our Landlords.

If you are considering renting your property until you find a buyer then we will not be in a position to help you.

Can I sell the property during the tenancy?
